Our House

We live on a street that was built on farm land, half the houses look like this. Into bad airbrushing at the mo.

Me

I’ve not worked like this for a few years now. I did a lot of commercial work that tired me of working this way. Recently though I’ve fancied having another go. I have a few ideas for over summer. Photography will be a part but I want to get a decent amount of drawing done too after too long without it!

A Head

Al

I had an idea about five years ago to draw everything. I revisited the idea recently. These were in the A-L category. Alpaca and an Alp.

André

This is André on a Virgin Rail dinner mat. The kind lady on the train gave me a whole pack of mats.

100 Faces

I was asked by someone to draw 100 faces. So I did.

Chicken

10 minutes to spare and this is what I do. Please, anybody, fill that ten minutes with something next time.

Planes

I often draw abstract shapes. I collect a lot of images too, especially heads and planes. I wanted to create a flight path that was fairly busy and also related to my abstract shapes. This is A1 size on newsprint that was my desk liner.

The End

The commissions below, and this one, to make a sign, were part of a project I worked on using a simple form on my website. For a set fee I could be commissioned and would draw anything [within reason]. It was a fun project really, away from the constraints of usual commissions. I might re work the project soon.

New York

Another commission – New York this time.
